Golf Wins NAC West, Moves on to Defend League Title vs. Husson Friday

DELHI, N.Y. (April 24, 2021) – The SUNY Delhi's men's golf team moved one step closer to their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) title defense today, hosting and winning Saturday's NAC West Championships with a 295 score. All five Broncos earned All-NAC West finishes, with Jarrett McWilliams and Zach Barrett sharing the NAC West Co-Players of the Year with event-leading 72 scores. The Broncos will play for the overall league title on Friday April 30 versus East Division winner Husson at The Orchards in South Hadley, Mass.

Daniel Christy placed third with a 75 score, while Jason Cyr finished tied for fourth with a 76 and Brandon Palmer tied at sixth with a 78. SUNY Canton finished second with a 333 score, as Josh Marshall also earned All-NAC West with a 78 score for a tie for sixth place. NVU Johnson took third with a 388 ledger, led by Kaden Sweet, who earned All-NAC West with a 76 score to tie for fourth. Johnson's Joey Giroux captured the NAC West Rookie of the Year with a 92 score. 

Husson won the NAC East Saturday with a 328 score, as four players earned All-NAC East, including division winner Cade Charron posting a 78.
