FORT KENT, Me. (October 2, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's soccer team made their longest road trip of the season on Sunday, as they headed up to Maine Fort Kent for an NIAC contest. It would be the Bengals, however, who walked away with a 13-0 win.
The Broncos accounted for five shots on goal, while MFK had 17. Jacqueline Slentz had four saves on the afternoon for Delhi in goal. The Bengals led at halftime, 10-0, before tacking on three more scores in the second half. Esther Ferrusi, Tiffany Leigh, Meghan Brigham, Katie Herba and Alexis Moore each had a shot on goal for the Broncos. Tolu Oyeniyi and Sherifatu Sumaila each tallied a hat trick for the Bengals, with Ericka Garino adding a pair of scores.
