Indoor Track & Field Season Starts this Saturday

DELHI, N.Y. (December 3, 2021) - The SUNY Delhi track and field teams embark on their first indoor season since 2019-20 this Saturday when the Broncos make their way to Cornell University for the Greg Page Relays. Under new coaches Zach Brown and Ben Finnigan, the two are set to guide SUNY Delhi to new heights as the program enters its first year as full-time NCAA Division III members. The team has qualified for at least one AARTFC Championship event since joining the conference in 2018-19. Fused with the team's first chance at qualifying for this March's NCAA nationals, hopes are high for the proven program.

The men and women jumpstart their season this Saturday, Dec. 4th competing at the Cornell's Page Relays, followed by the Utica Holiday Classic on Dec. 11th. They start their new year's string of meets with the Utica Winter Classic on Jan. 15th, Hamilton Invitational on Jan 21st, and finishing off the month at the Utica Blue & Orange Invite on Jan. 29th. Moving into February, the Broncos will ride to the Ithaca Bomber Invitational & Multi on Feb 5th, followed by a busy split the following weekend between Boston University's Hemery Valentine Invitational Feb. 11-12 and Colgate University's Class of '32 Invitational Feb. 12. Delhi completes its regular season Feb. 25 at the Ocean Breeze Fastrack Last Chance.

March starts the championship meets, as the men and women look to land marks to join the AARTFC Championships Mar. 4-5 at Nazareth University, and ultimately the NCAA Indoor National Championships set for Mar. 11-12 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
