Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi Invitational took place Saturday as the Delhi men's golf team got to hit the course for the first time this fall. The invitational consisted of 9 teams, with the Broncos top squad finishing in first place (+2). Sophomore Joseph Manginelli (-3) led all golfers on the day.
First-year Grady Glennon (E) and junior Jeremy Pavlovych (+2) contributed strong performances, finishing in the top five among individuals, while sophomore Noah Tyler (+3) added a fifth overall finish.
It was all Broncos as Delhi's two other teams record third and fourth place finishes. Sophomore Taylor Brock (+5) and senior Jack Nelson (+5) both led their respected squads. It was a dominant outing across the board, with Delhi placing nine golfers in the top ten.
Delhi will be back in action with some golfers competing at the Cobleskill Fall Invitational, while the remaining plan is for another match at home.
