Utica, NY – Delhi Women's Soccer took on Morrisville State in the Broncos third consecutive trip to the NAC West Final but were defeated in the end 2-0. After an incredible season, the Broncos fall short of reclaiming the North Atlantic Conference title.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Morrisville grabbed their first goal in the eighth minute to start the scoring. After the ball bounced around in the box from a free kick, the Mustangs eventually put it away on their third attempt at goal.

The Broncos' best chance in the half came in a two-on-one situation, but the Mustangs' defender got a foot on it, sending it out of bounds.

Delhi would be down 1-0 at the half, yet outshot Morrisville 6-4.

The Broncos applied pressure in the second half, outshooting the Mustangs 10-3, but couldn't get anything to go.

Morrisville added to their total from the penalty spot in the 84th minute to put the match out of reach.
