DELHI, N.Y. (August 26, 2021) – SUNY Delhi men's and women's cross country head coach Zach Brown has released his teams' schedule for the 2021 season. This fall marks a pivotal one for the historically successful program, as the new head coach and his squads are the first to have an opportunity for NCAA championships as the college begins its first year as active NCAA Division III members.

"It's an exciting time for SUNY Delhi Cross Country," said Coach Brown. "As we begin our first full year competing in the NCAA, I am excited to see what the men's and women's teams can do this season. Although it has been a while since some of these athletes have been able to compete in a cross country meet or race on a course, I think they are excited and ready to compete."

The men and women kick off their campaign on Wednesday, Sep. 1 with a dual meet at Hartwick. They continue on the road throughout September competing at the Le Moyne College Invitational on Sept. 4, Vassar College on Sep. 11, SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Sept. 18, and SUNY Geneseo on Oct. 2. The Broncos host their annual midweek Bronco Classic on Oct. 6, then close out their regular season running the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on Oct. 16.

The Broncos look to defend their NAC Championship on Oct. 30 when they travel to Thomas College. A strong performance there offers SUNY Delhi an opportunity for their first NCAA championship event, with the Niagara Region Championships set to be hosted by SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, Nov. 13, with NCAA nationals set for the following Saturday, Nov. 20 in Louisville, KY.
