Schowerer Logs First Career Win at Season-Opening Cobleskill Classic

COBLESKILL, N.Y. (September 6, 2019) – SUNY Delhi women's golf sophomore Erin Schowerer opened the Broncos' season on a winning note Friday by finishing first at the SUNY Cobleskill Jug Classic. It marked her first career tournament win. The competition took place at the par-71, 5,861-yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club.

Schowerer shot a 98 (+27) to top the field that included competitors from host SUNY Cobleskill and Keuka. Teammate and freshman Ava Rossi scored a 134 (+43) in her career debut.

The Broncos continue their season on Wednesday, appearing at the Keuka Fall Invitational, with a start time of 10:00 a.m.
