Broncos Victorious Again in Home Match Versus SUNY Cobleskill

DELHI, N.Y. (September 5, 2021) – One day after their visit to SUNY Cobleskill, the SUNY Delhi men's golf team returned the favor Sunday welcoming the Fighting Tigers to the Par 71, 6459-yard College Golf Course, albeit in rainy conditions. The Broncos carried a 303 (+19) score to take the victory over Cobleskill's 366 (+82). Jordan Starley won the individual championship with an even 71 score.

Thomas Christoffersen was next on the leaderboard, helping the team with a 73 (+2) score. John Williamson took fourth with a 79 (+8), while yesterday's champion Andrew Saar and Thomas Long carried 80 ledgers (+9) to tie for fifth. Brock Ricketts was the Fighting Tigers' top finisher in seventh place with an 81 (+10), with the orange and black's team competitors posting positions of ninth, 13th, 14th, and 15th.

Competing outside the team scoring for the Broncos were third-place Sean Gordon with a 76 (+5), eighth-place David Flannery with an 85 (+4), ninth-placer Gabriel Horsford with an 86 (+15), and tied for 11th Brandon Morrison and Peter Gasparino carding 90's (+19).

Head coach Dave Arehart's squad looks to take their winning ways to great success at The Gauntlet, set for Sept. 11-12 at Shawnee-on-Delaware, Pa.
