DELHI, N.Y. — SUNY Delhi men's basketball opened its 2025–26 campaign with a competitive effort against visiting Utica on Saturday, falling 80–60 at Floyd L. Maines Arena.
Adan Madera led the Broncos offense with 14 points shooting an efficient 66% from the floor while Solomon Mason and Jason Tagios each added nine points in the effort. Anthony Graffeo-Jackson contributed seven points and a team-high 10 rebounds, anchoring Delhi's inside presence while Madera and Kai Harvey both pitched in three assists.
After trailing by 13 at halftime, the Broncos clawed to keep the deficit in the teens throughout the second half, but Utica held off the rally to close out the game.
The Broncos are back in action Monday for their second game of three in four days, hosting RPI Nov. 10th before traveling up to UAlbany for an exhibition game Tuesday, Nov. 11th.
