ONEONTA, N.Y. (September 16, 2017) – Four SUNY Delhi men's runners claimed top-ten spots at Saturday's Oneonta Airfield Invitational, with Kobie Lane capturing his third individual crown in as many weeks this season. Also happening for the third time were Lane, Nicholas Arnecke and Jon Messler grabbing top-five position, with Lucas Reilly earning eighth place to help Delhi take second with 36 points. They finished two points behind first-place Oneonta.
Lane, who has been the USCAA's Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week the last two weeks, bested the 63-man, 6K field with a mark of 19:26.8. Arnecke took third at 19:34.4, while Messler grabbed fourth at 19:44.7 and Reilly eighth with a pace of 20:06.0. Jack Hopkins grabbed 20th place for Delhi with a time of 21:41.6. Kevin Malen finished 21st at 21:49.2, while James Blough took 24th with a time of 22:36.5.
