Lane, Moheimani Receive ACAA Weekly Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (September 12, 2017) – The American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) today announced Kobie Lane (Port Jervis, NY / Port Jervis) and Arielle Moheimani (Homer, NY / Homer) as the Men's and Women's Cross Country Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the week ending September 10. This is Lane's second straight week receiving weekly conference honors, after being named the USCAA, ACAA, AII and NIAC Athlete of the Week last week.

Moheimani, a freshman, paced the Broncos for the second week in a row with a 25th place finish at the Hamilton Short Course meet. She covered the 4K course in 14:56.4. SUNY Delhi finished tenth as a team.

Lane, a junior, earned his second straight individual crown of the season at the Hamilton Short Course meet. He cleared the 5K field at a pace of 15:18.1, besting his mark from last year by 28.4 seconds, as the Broncos finished third. In addition, teammates Jon Messler and Nicholas Arnecke finished second and third, respectively, for the second straight week.
