Arnecke Adds USCAA, NIAC Weekly Honors to Rewarding Week

DELHI, N.Y. (October 18, 2017) – Just one day after being accorded the ACAA Athlete of the Week, junior Nicholas Arnecke (Edmeston, NY / Edmeston) picked up two more weekly honors from both the USCAA and NIAC. He was honored after placing first at the Green Mountain College Invitational on Saturday. This is Arnecke's fourth weekly award of the season and his first from the USCAA, ACAA and NIAC. He was previously named the AII's Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 17.

Arnecke became the first Bronco not named Kobie Lane to pace Delhi in a men's race this season, as the junior topped the 8K, 35-man field with a time of 26:42. Including Arnecke, seven Broncos took top-eight spots as the team won the event at Green Mountain with 16 points. Lane, Jon Messler and Lucas Reilly all finished behind Arnecke in second, third and fourth, respectively.
