RESULTS

HAMILTON, N.Y. (September 9, 2017) – SUNY Delhi men's cross country once again grabbed the top three individual spots on Saturday at the Hamilton Short Course Meet, replicating their feat from last week at Le Moyne. And again, it was Kobie Lane leading the pack with a time of 15:18.1 as the Broncos placed third out of 12 teams with 67 points. SUNY Oneonta won the team championship with 47 points, while Hamilton finished second with 59 points.

Jon Messler took second at 15:21.2, while Nicholas Arnecke grabbed third with a time of 15:22.5. Lucas Reilly earned an 11th-place nod at 15:47.2, while Jack Hopkins finished 50th at 16:49.1. Ted Oster (17:29.1) and Kevin Malen (17:44.8) rounded out the playing field for the Broncos. What's even more outstanding is the Broncos' improvement on the Hamilton course from last year. Where the team averaged 16:17 at last year's meet, the Broncos averaged 15:43 on Saturday. In addition, Lane bested his mark from last year by 28.4 seconds, while both Messler and Arnecke improved their finish by over one minute.
