For our 12th edition of the Bronco of the Week in 2023 on April 17th, we highlight women’s track and field athlete Kim Dean and men’s golf’s Jordan Starley. Both Broncos represented their team with outstanding performances throughout the busy past week.

Kim Dean - (Bellport, NY / Bellport High School) - Women's Track and Field - Junior

Kim Dean had one of her best weekends of the year at the Upstate Alternative Invitational on Saturday in Courtland. She would be the only event win by a Delhi athlete after running a lifetime best in the 100 meters at 13.04 seconds to edge out second place by a razor-thin one-one thousandth of a second. She would go on to PR in the 200-meter race (27.31) and in the long jump (4.68) to wrap up her outstanding weekend.

Jordan Starley - (Windsor, NY / Windsor Central High School) - Men's Golf - Junior

Jordan Starley led the men’s golf team to a huge 50-stroke win over three conference opponents this past week at the Delhi Invitational at the College Golf Course at Delhi. He carded a 69 (-2), the day's best, with five birdies to be the only golfer under par.

Jordan and the golf team are back in action this weekend at the Gettysburg Spring Shootout at the Penn National Golf Club. While Dean and the track team have the Cortland Classic on Friday and Saturday.
