Delhi Takes Home Top Spot at Lou Jarvis Memorial

Jay, VT - The Broncos traveled to the Luo Jarvis Memorial hosted by NVU-Johnson Saturday and beat out three other NAC schools for first. The Broncos won the invite with 311 total strokes, 11 more than the following SUNY Canton. 

"The team has been working hard and it was nice to see a good result on a challenging course., said head coach Dave Arehart, "We are excited to play at the NAC Championship next weekend."

Junior Thomas Christoffersen carded a round of one over par, scoring a 73 (+1) and winning the invite. The other four Broncos to score carded less then 82 (+10) with four placing in the top six. John Williamson placed fourth overall with a 78 (+6). While David Flannery came right behind him in fifth with a 79 (+7) and Jordan Starley in sixth with an 81 (+9).

"It was a good last weekend at Oswego, but we all hoped for a better result, said Thomas Christoffersen, "This week I spent a lot of time on my game, and it paid off today. I'm looking forward to next weekend and feel like the team is trending in the right direction."

Delhi will shift its focus to the NAC Championship next weekend in Waterville, Maine.
