The Men's Golf competed against six different programs on Saturday taking home second and third place with two five-man teams.
"It was exciting to see determination from our players in the first match of the season," said head coach Dave Aerhart, "The team and I recognize hard work is in front of us to reach our goals and we embrace the challenge."
Led by Thomas Christoffersen and his top score of the competition with 75, the Broncos look to be already in mid-season form. Gabriel Horsford had a great 18 holes as well coming in just two strokes behind Christofferson's top score.
Freshman, Ander Erana started his collegiate career off really well, putting up an impressive score of 78. While John Williamson and David Flannery both shot less than 80.
After an impressive first day competing, the Golf team will head home and jump right back into the action for the SUNY Delhi Bronco Fall Invitational on Sunday, September 4th.
