DELHI, N.Y. (April 24, 2020) – SUNY Delhi men's basketball head coach Zack Thomsen was a guest on Monday's episode of "The Nate Lull Podcast." Thomsen, a native of nearby South New Berlin and Unadilla Valley graduate, spoke with Lull from WCDO in Sidney to discuss his roots playing basketball, leading to a distinguished high school career under head coach Matt Osborne and a college career at Onondaga Community College and West Virginia Tech. He then rose through the college coaching ranks with stops at Onondaga, Le Moyne, Shepherd, then finally his current head job at SUNY Delhi, where he has amassed 83 wins in five years. The Broncos recently captured their second straight ACAA championship in dominating fashion, followed by a Final Four appearance in their first-ever USCAA National Tournament. Thomsen was twice named the ACAA Coach of the Year for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
