SUNY Delhi came out strong against the University of Maine- Fort Kent, doubling their score 18 to 9 at the end of the first period. The Broncos struggled offensively in the second period, however, putting away only 3 points and letting the Bengals take the lead at the half 24-21. Kaitlin Gorton led the scoring for the Broncos with 14 points. SUNY Delhi's Diana Echols lead the way for the Broncos on the boards, pulling down18 rebounds. The Broncos outrebounded the Bengals 49 to 28, but could not capitalize offensively to regain the lead. The Bengals would finish on top 54-49 after defeating the Broncos 98-40 last semester.
