How it Happened:

Game One Delhi 3 | Elmira 11

After a lead-off Sidney Cooper single, Lauren Zecca and Rhianna Iglesias would draw walks to load the bases with no outs. Delhi would score one on a wild pitch before freshman Emmalee Keyser and Gabriella Narcisse knocked in a run each to tie the game at 3-3.

The bats would then break down as they failed to score again. Katelynn Rose was on the mound, pitching five innings with four strikeouts.

Game Two: Delhi 5 | Elmira 8

After finding themselves down 8-0 after the top half of the fifth inning, the Broncos came to life. In the bottom half of the fifth, they would put two on the board after Roselyn Monks drove in freshman Miah Hamm and McKenzie Wilson with a big double.

This woke the offense up as they scored again in the sixth inning after senior Kayla Beers was knocked in by Sidney Cooper after Beers singles and stole second. In the seventh, the Broncos would stage a comeback after Danielle Seymour smacked a two-run single to second. Another Beers single and a Cooper walk would load the bases with just one out, but Elmira would get two big strikeouts to shut the door.
