Malik Talbert joined the SUNY Delhi Broncos in Coach Sam Miller’s first season in 2017 after transferring from Hilbert College. Malik quickly solidified himself as a playmaker, amassing 143 points on 109 goals and 34 assists over a three-year career. He was one Delhi’s team captains for Delhi’s first season in NCAA Division III in 2019, where he ranked second in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) with 50 goals and third with 68 points, while surpassing the 100 career point and goal milestone during the year. His effort and leadership helped the Broncos to an 11-win season and a conference playoff berth. Originally from Valley Stream, NY, Malik also served as one of men’s lacrosse’s SAAC representatives. He graduated in the spring of 2019 with a degree in Recreation and Sports Management.
