Coach Munro is my campus role model. He is someone who is not afraid to be honest. When someone is having a hard time, he is right there to hold them accountable to the fact that they need to change something to achieve their goals. Personally, Coach shows us by his own actions that he is responsible for what happens in his life whether it’s at work or with his family. Being a father of three, it would be easy for him to come into work tired or unmotivated, but I’ve never seen Coach not ready to tackle a day since I’ve been at Delhi. I think if someone with a family to balance and numerous athletes to care for can do it, there is no reason anyone should have any excuses to just get things done. I hope some of the traits will linger inside me from what I have learned from Coach Munro going into the workforce next year and I will always be thankful for the years I got to look up to him.
