I’ve had the pleasure to be apart of the SUNY Delhi golf team for 3 years going on my 4t. I’ve met a lot of people that will influence my life in this short period of time. One person that will have the greatest impact on me is coach Dave Arehart. Through my years I’ve learned so much not just about golf, but life in general. Dave has a great family and values them very much. He is constantly there for us on and off the golf course. Dave has seen me have off days mentally. He notices it better than most and asks to talk about it. He’s a very good father, coach, teacher, and most of all just a great guy. He cares more than most people. I know if I ever have a problem I can talk to Dave and he’s going to give me his take on the situation. All I know is he’s more than a coach and more like a friend for life with tons of information. Words can’t really describe my appreciating for Coach Arehart over these years in college. Thank you. You and the boys made SUNY Delhi the best possible fit for me. If you’re looking to play on a college golf team, I don’t think there is a better place to be with Coach Arehart here coaching the SUNY Delhi Broncos and you can hold me to that.
