Track and Field Outdoor Dominance Continues as NAC Recognizes Broncos Again

Joshua Jeffes had another huge week for the Broncos.  This week at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, Jeffes ran his first ever sub-47 second in the 400-meter with a time of 46.96, which ranks him at fourth in the nation for NCAA Division III.  Jeffes finished second overall at the high powered meet with over 130 collegiate programs and clubs represented. Jeffes also posted a 200-meter performance of 21.62. With his marks this week, Jeffes continues to lead the NAC and the Niagara Region in both the 400 and 200-meter events.

Senior | Canandaigua, NY | Thrower

Kitty Messina continued her senior campaign by adding more than a meter to her lifetime best, and the SUNY Delhi program record, in the hammer throw with a toss of 43.62 meters at the Cortland Upstate Alternative. This mark adds to her NAC leading mark of 42.52 meters from earlier in the season. Messina currently has the top throw in the North Atlantic Conference. She also took her first crack at the Javelin on the season and posted a mark of 30.32 meters which ranks fourth in the NAC.
