Shanay Bradley '10

Shanay Bradley competed as forward for the Broncos Women's Basketball Team from 2008 to 2010, leading the team in rebounds in both seasons and earning All-Mountain Valley Conference honors. She was named team captain her sophomore year in a campaign where she averaged a double-double with 12.8 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per game. She continued her career at SUNY New Paltz from 2010 to 2012, becoming an instant starter for the Hawks and an All-SUNYAC selection her senior year. Bradley ranked number one in the SUNYAC in rebounding, including setting a single-game school record with 24 rebounds. She stayed on as a volunteer coach for New Paltz following her senior season, the year the Hawks won their first SUNYAC championship in 2013. She coached at SUNY Potsdam for two years before returning to New Paltz as an assistant coach. She helped the Hawks to their second SUNYAC title in 2016. Bradley now is a director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Syracuse, N.Y., which focuses on the development of faith and athletics.
