Hikaru Kozuma enjoyed two spectacular years on the SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team from 2006 to 2007, with her 956 digs and 110 aces still standing as Broncos career records. She was named the 2006 Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year, while securing second-team All-Region 3 and first-team All-MVC selections in 2007. Kozuma helped guide Delhi to the 2007 NJCAA Region 3 Tournament, where she landed in the NJCAA national top ten in four statistical categories that season: 530 total digs, 5.955 digs per set, 81 total aces, and 0.910 aces per set. She earned a full athletic scholarship to NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific University, playing defensive specialist for the Sea Warriors for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Kozuma graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, focusing in Travel Industry Management.
