Guy Taylor set a school scoring record for the 1965 Bronco Men’s Soccer Season with 9 goals in 8 games and set a single game record with 4 goals and 1 assist.  He was named All-Regional for his play. The following spring, Taylor played for the Baseball Team as a shortstop and compiled a .333 batting average.  He was again named to the All-Region Team. After graduating from SUNY Delhi, Taylor entered the U.S. Army and served as an Operations Sergeant with the 86th Engineer Battalion. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1968 and began a 32 year career with Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation, starting as a Cadet Engineer.  He continued his education at Rochester Institute of Technology and St. John Fisher College and eventually became Director of Employment with RG&E. During his tenure at RG&E, Taylor was a volunteer coach and an officer in the Webster Soccer Association.  Taylor lives in Penfield, NY with his wife of 41 years. He has 3 children and 5 grandchildren who all inherited his passion for the game of soccer.
