Stephen Huthcinson, “Hutch”, graduated from Delhi as the career scoring leader in Basketball with 1,088 points. This was the most ever scored by a Bronco, an accomplishment few players have achieved since. Hutch won 70% of his games and had a career scoring average of 26 points per game.  He ranked in the top 10 nationally in scoring average. He made the Region III First Team two years in a row and was the single season and career scoring record holder in the NYS Junior College Conference. He was renowned for his long shots from the outside corners of the court. Hutchinson hails from Schenevus, NY and served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force prior to attending college.  He earned an AAS in Business Administration and was a member of the Pirates, an athletic and social organization, at Delhi. He transferred to Rochester Institute of Technology where he started as a guard for the R.I.T. Tigers and earned a BS in 1972.
