Kelsey overcame some early setbacks in her career to develop into one of the top distance runners in program history.  At the end of her freshman year, she helped the 4x800 relay team to a second place and All-American finish while also scoring critical points in many individual events helping to lead the team to the NJCAA National Team Championship.  As a sophomore, with far more experience Kelsey came in as a leader and really took off as a collegiate competitor.  She earned All-American in Cross Country for her sixth place finish and then led the team in outdoor track and field scoring points in four individual events and one relay event as the women placed second as a team.  The highlight of Kelsey's performances was a 50 second personal best time to win the National Championship in the 5,000 meters.  Kelsey returns as a junior with big goals as she establishes herself as a leader in the program.
