Men and Women Sweep Team Titles at ACAA Championships

The SUNY Delhi Cross Country teams traveled to Canton, NY to compete in the ACAA Conference Championships hosted by SUNY Canton.  The teams swept the titles with the women picking up their first win of the year and the men dominating with a perfect score.

The women won the team title placing five runners in the top nine finishers.  As has been the case all year, sophomore Isamarie Ramos led the way placing third overall.  Following Ramos were sophomore Elise McIntyre (5th), junior Kelsey Esselman (7th), sophomore Rainey Cerqua (8th) and freshman Ashley Magnifico (9th).  The women won with a score of 32 points, eight points ahead of Alfred State.

For the men, the top five places all went to the Broncos.  Leading the way again was sophomore Kobie Lane in first.  Following Lane were sophomore Andrew Davis (2nd), freshman Jon Messler (3rd), senior Jack Hillenbrand (4th) and sophomore Nick Arnecke (5th).  The men's perfect score of 15 was 33 points ahead of runner up Alfred State.

The Broncos have one race left this season.  They will travel to Virginia Beach in two weeks for the USCAA National Cross Country Championships.
