Men's Golf Holds 14-Stroke Lead After Day One of NAC Championships

OAKLAND, Me. (October 12, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team holds a 14-stroke lead after day one of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships, as all five Broncos finished in the top ten for a 295 (+15) team score. Daniel Christy, Brandon Palmer and Zach Barrett led the team with 73 scores (+3) to tie for second place, while Aaron Oliver is fifth with a 76 (+6) and Alex Fisher eighth with a 77 (+7).

Taking place at the par-70, 6,301-yard Waterville Country Club, Thomas stands in second place with a 309 (+29), while defending conference champion and tournament favorite Husson is third with a 311 (+31). Fourth-place Castleton's Jacob Erwin stands atop the individual leaderboard with a 72 (+2).

Day two of the NAC Championships is scheduled to begin Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
