Delhi's Swim and Dive Team take on Hartwick Quad Meet

Oneonta, NY - The Men and Women's Swim teams traveled to the Hartwick Quad Meet on Saturday to take on three other programs for their second invite of the season. Both programs participated in a combined nine events, competing against Utica, Hartwick and Saint Rose.

The first event the Broncos appeared in was the women's 200 Meter Medley Relay fifth place with a time of 2:20.87. Skyler Nowalk led the team as the final leg with a time of 27:19, the second-fastest individual time for the event. The men's team would follow in their 200 Meter Medley Relay, also placing fifth with a time of 2:08.86. Travis Belanger led that team with a superb time of 24:55.

The next event the Broncos competed in was the women's 100 Yard Backstroke, as Jessica Roon placed sixth overall with a time of 1:19.48. Then it was the 100 Yard Breaststroke, as Catherine Messina placed 7th in the women's race and Steven Castronovo also took 7th in the men's leg.

Messina would follow up with the women's 50 Yard Freestyle taking 10th place with a time of 33:18. Aiden Record would lead for the Bronco's in the men's 50 Yard Freestyle placing 10th overall. 

The final competition for the Broncos was the 100 Yard Freestyle. Nowalk showed one of the best performances for Delhi, taking third overall with a time of 1:02.48. Ashley Berger was right behind her in fourth place. While, for the men's side, Record would take the top spot for the Green and Gold finishing in ninth place. 

Their next swim meet will be at Cazenovia on Friday, November 4th at 6 p.m. against both Cazenovia and Utica.
