Softballs drops doubleheader against Alfred State at home

Delhi, NY - Delhi softball hosted a doubleheader against Alfred State for their second homestand of the season. They would drop both games, with the first ending 10-0 and the second game 13-4.

The Broncos (3-16) jump into a busy part of the season and will play 10 more games in the next seven days.

How it Happened:

Game One: Delhi 0 | Alfred State 10

The green and gold got off to a slow start in the first game and never recovered. They would end up recording four hits as Lauren Zecca led the way with two hits.

Danielle Seymour would be on the mound, facing 36 total batters through her seven innings pitched.

Game Two: Delhi 4 | Alfred State 13

The Bronco's bats woke up in the second game as they pushed three runs across in the second inning on a huge Miah Hamm triple. She unleashed a deep drive to right field for her third and fourth RBIs on the year as she stepped up as a pinch hitter. They would score a fourth run in the bottom of the fourth but it wouldn't be enough.

Katelynn Rose and Seymour would combine for 33 batters faced in the second game on the mound.
