UTICA, N.Y. (April 22, 2021) – After over a two-week break, the SUNY Delhi men's tennis team returned to action on Thursday with a road meeting at Utica. The freshman phenom Jarod Rackliffe improved to 3-0 on the season with a one singles victory over Austin McGrain, 6-3 and 6-1. Junior Christopher Balogh posted a two singles win versus Ethan Trembley, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6. These served as the Broncos' lone wins of the contest as the host Pioneers delivered a 7-2 decision.
Rackliffe and Balogh posted a close doubles match at the one spot versus McGrain and LJ Nuzzo, which the latter won out in an 8-5 ledger.
The Broncos return to NAC competition this Sunday with a matchup against Thomas. A win will give Delhi a first-place finish in the league regular season standings.
