Connor joins SUNY Delhi from the small school of Lafayette. Connor is a steeplechase specialist in track season, but has run very strong races in the 1600 meters, 3200 meters and cross country as well. In his senior year, Connor placed 10th in the NYS Class D Cross Country Championships and 5th place outdoors in the NYS Division II Steeplechase. When asked about the addition of Oakman, coach Robb Munro said "We are very excited to have Connor joining us. He is a good kid and races best when it counts the most. I expect that he will make an impact in our program immediately."
