Broncos Run Through Keystone to Move to 4-0

Delhi, NY - The Delhi lacrosse team continued its hot start with another home win over the visiting Keystone Giants, moving to 4-0 on the season.  The Broncos offense was on fire scoring six goals in the first period and 18 for the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Delhi had six goals in the first period with Jagger Beachak leading the way scoring one and assiting on three others.

  • The second period saw Benjamin Moscatiello take over as he scored three and assisted on one of Delhi's five 2nd period goals.  Moscatiello finished the game with five goals and three assists

  • Chris Lazazzaro and Joe Anfuso each scored three more goals for Delhi to bolster the attack

  • Nick Allen and Donavon Johnson-Moline seemed to be everywhere for the Broncos causing six turnovers and collecting eight ground balls between them, but also disrupting the Giants attempts at offense.

  • Anthony Ferrato saw his biggest test yet in the faceoff circle as he matched up against another one of the nations leaders in faceoff percentage and he came out ahead winning 14 of 25 and collecting 11 ground balls.

The Green and Gold will finish out their three game home stand on Saturday at 1p.m. when they play Marywood at Neil Riddell Field.
