Broncos of the Week 3/6-3/12

Delhi, NY - This week we bring you an all lacrosse version of the Broncos of the Week to highlight some of the less heralded individuals playing their role in Delhi's great start to their season.

Chris Lazazzaro

Sophomore | East Rockaway, NY | Men's Lacrosse

Lazazzaro has had a break out start to the season and is bolstering the Bronco offense.  To start the season he was dishing out more assists, getting six over the first three games.  However, last week he took on a new role as a scorer.  Lazazzaro had eight goals in two games, including five in the Broncos win over Marywood.  Keep an eye on him as he continues to add more to his game and looks to help keep the Broncos rolling.

Nick Allen

Freshman | Cold Spring, NY | Men's Lacrosse

Allen's stat line doesn't even begin to do justice for his performances.  In two wins for Delhi this week, he collected six ground balls and caused five turnovers, but his play has been disruptive to opposing offenses well beyond that.  He has consistently locked down the opponents attack, blocked shots and knocked away dangerous passes to break up opportunities.  He has also used his speed and awareness to help Delhi clear the ball following a turnover.

With Lacrosse in full swing, Tennis having just started and Softball kicking off this week, we are busy in Delhi Athletics.  Come on out and support the teams as they look to build great spring seasons!
