Broncos Win Last Game of the Semester

SUNY Delhi traveled to New York City Saturday evening to take on King's College. The Broncos came out firing, taking the lead 24-3 at the end of the first period. Although play balanced out throughout the second and third periods, a final push by the Broncos in the fourth period, putting up an impressive 28 points to King's 3, secured the win for the Broncos. Samaiya Salley led the way on the scoreboard for SUNY Delhi scoring a team high 19 points. In a true team effort, all 13 SUNY Delhi roster members contributed to the offensive success of the Broncos. Diana Echols pulled in 13 rebounds, Brittany Toliver finished with 8 assists, and Talyce Lipinski gathered 7 steals. In a dominating performance, the Broncos finished on top 78-27. The Broncos will reconvene season play following Christmas break on Jan 12, 2017 when they travel to Maine Fort Kent.
