FORT MYERS, FL (March 15, 2022) -- The SUNY Delhi softball program wrapped up there play in Florida with a game against the Wisconson-Superior Yellowjackets; falling 14-3.

Wisconsin-Superior (14) vs. Delhi (3):

Two big innings by the Yellowjackets spelled the end of the trip for the Broncos. The Broncos fell behind 6-0 before their 2nd turn to bat and Wisconsin-Superior added 8 more runs in the 3rd inning. Trailing by double-digit runs going into the 4th, the Broncos got on the scoreboard with two runs of their own. Delhi got their third run of the game with the first home run of the year by Kitty Messina. Roselyn Monks doubled for the Broncos as well.

Katelynn Rose and Mel Papuli split the pitching duties for the Broncos. Emma Pillion threw 35 pitches over five innings of work for the Yellowjackets and got the win.

Delhi returns back to New York with a 2-6 overall record. They will hit the road again for three straight away doubleheaders with Houghton College up first on Friday March 18.
