After another outstanding week on the pitch, freshman Roberto Velasquez-Osorio secures his second consecutive NAC Rookie of the Week award. He played a crucial role in helping Delhi Men's Soccer wrap up their season with a pair of wins last week, defeating NAC opponents Cobleskill 6-1 and non-conference SUNY ESF 5-0.

To conclude his incredible season, Roberto Velasquez-Osorio netted five goals and assisted on another, setting a school record as SUNY Delhi's all-time single-season goal scorer with 23 goals. His 23 goals, averaging 1.33 per match, rank him second overall in NCAA Division III among all athletes in total goals this season.
Velasquez-Osorio ends his regular season leading the conference in total goals, game-winning goals, total points, and shots on goal in his first year. The freshman phenom and the Broncos are back in action in the NAC West Semifinals, on October 28th at SUNY Poly.
