Broncos Keep Post Season Hopes Alive With Dominant Win

Canton, NY - The SUNY Delhi Lacrosse team needed a big win on the road today in Canton and they got it done in emphatic fashion.  The Broncos got their first win of the season over one of the top teams in the NAC after three close losses and they left no doubt they should be feared.  The Broncos were led by an outrageous performance from Jagger Beachak who has now passed 100 career points in a game on Wednesday and now holds the school records for SUNY Delhi in single season assists and single season points.  The old record for assists in a single season was set in 2016 by Jeremy Leary with 40 assists.  With Beachak adding three more today, he now has 42.  The previous single season points record was set by John Rohan III in 2019.  Beachak came into the day one shy of that mark and tallied seven points to set the new mark at 76.

UP NEXT FOR THE BRONCOS

The Broncos entered the game at 4-3 in the NAC while Canton sat at 5-1.  With Delhi now 5-3 and Canton at 5-2, all Delhi's focus will now turn to a game tomorrow between Maine Maritime and Canton.  A Maine Maritime win in that game would put Delhi into the playoffs.
