Broncos Pick Up 11th Win of the Season With Win over MCLA

Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi Broncos closed out their home schedule tonight at Neil Riddell Field hosting the MCLA Trailblazers.  Delhi picked up their 11th win of the season while Jagger Beachak scored his 100th career point making him the fifth Bronco to reach the milestone and the second one to do it this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Broncos jumped all over the Trailblazers with a strong first period, taking a 6-0 lead at the end of the quarter and went into the half up 12-1.

  • Eleven different Delhi players scored goals with face off man Anthony Ferrato tallying three to lead the team.  Ferrato also won 16 of 18 face offs and collected 16 ground balls.

  • Mike Triolo and Matt Mulrooney combined for eight saves in the goalie position, giving up just one goal a piece.

UP NEXT FOR THE BRONCOS

The Broncos will play one more regular season game when they square off with Canton on Saturday at Canton.  The game is set to start at noon.
