Delhi Golf's big second day propels them to third at Oswego Fall Invite

Oswego, NY – Delhi Men's Golf traveled to the Oswego State Fall Invitational for a two day event, placing third as a team out of 12 programs.  

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW  

  • The majority of the Broncos improved their scores from the first day, and as a result, the team moved from seventh to third place after the first day of competition. 

  • Senior Thomas Christoffersen, who had finished 15th on the first day, led the team with an impressive seventh-place overall finish. He carded a solid 78 (+7) and played extremely well on the back nine with a 74 (+3). 

  • Following closely behind was freshman John Souva, securing 12th place on the scoring team, with scores of 77 (+6) and 77 (+7) on Sunday. 

  • Freshman Ben Swartz had an outstanding weekend, competing as an individual and improving his position by nine places on the second day to secure a 10th place overall finish.

The Broncos get ready for the North Atlantic conference Championships at the Partridge Run Golf & Country Club on October 7th and 8th.
