Morrisville, NY - The men's basketball team started their 2024 campaign with a road trip to Morrisville, NY to take on the North Atlantic Conferences newest member, the Morrisville Mustangs. Both Morrisville and Delhi came into the game unbeaten in conference play. The Broncos fell to the Mustangs 92-73.
Leading the way for the Broncos were Marven Louissaint, Isiah Barnes and Lester McCarthy who scored 17, 16 and 15 points respectively. Louissaint added nine rebounds while Barnes dished out four assists and had three steals. The result gives Morrisville sole posession of first place in the NAC West with what could be a critical rematch between the two teams in late January.
The Delhi men will be back on the hardwood again on Tuesday, January 9th at 1:00pm in the friendly confines of Maines Arena when they host Eastern Nazarene College for the first time ever.
