Delhi, NY – Men's Basketball hosted Misericordia University late Wednesday night at Floyd L. Maines Arena and were defeated by the Cougars 85-70.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In the first half, eight Broncos would get a bucket to go as they went into the break trailing 33-42 despite shooting 50% (15/30) from the field as a unit.

Sophomore Gustarling Louis (Elmont, NY) led the team at the half with eight points while shooting the ball well, going four for five from the field.

The Cougars would stretch their second half lead to as much as 20 as they pulled away to remain undefeated on the season.

All 10 Broncos who touched the floor would score, with 31 of their 70 points coming from the bench.

Junior Lester McCarthy (Dobbs Ferry, NY), and sophomores Louis and Noah Colin (Spring Valley, NY) all had double-digit points as Colin put up his career-high with 12. The trio had solid overall performances with Louis adding six rebounds and three steals, Colin recording five rebounds and a block and McCarthy pouring in two three-pointers with three assists and two steals.
