Delhi, NY – Delhi Men's Basketball took on Manhattanville College at home late Monday night and were defeated by the Valiants 71-62.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The first half saw both teams struggle to score, with the Broncos shooting just 22.6% (7/31) from the field and trailing 27-18 at the break.

Delhi had five scorers in the first half, including 11 points from the bench. Juniors Emerson Therneus (Spring Valley, NY) and Warren Davis (Manhattan, NY) led the way, combining for nine points.

Both offensive units exploded in the second half, scoring 44 points each. The Valiants stretched their lead to as much as 17, which proved too much for the Broncos to overcome in the end.

Senior Marven Louissaint (Brooklyn, NY) once again led the team in scoring for the second time in the last three games with 16 points. He had a solid overall game, contributing five rebounds and two steals. Senior Pablo Quinones (Highland Mills, NY) ended with 11 points and eight rebounds.
