DELHI, N.Y. (November 30, 2021) - Our Limitless Photos Broncos of the Week today sees the return of "Nate Lull's Local Look", where Nate gives us the lowdown on softball newcomer Danielle Seymour, while we celebrate men's basketball's Nicholas Escabi for his performance in Sunday's game versus Williams.
Nicholas Escabi (Brooklyn, NY / Wildcat Academy) made the first career start of his SUNY Delhi career Sunday in a marquee games versus an unbeaten Williams squad. He opened the game with a jump shot to give the Broncos their only lead of the contest. He relished in his role of tempo-starter by grabbing four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 18 minutes of play. Escabi was familiar with Williams, having played against them at his previous school, MCLA.
Nate Lull's Local Look: Danielle Seymour (Deposit, NY / Deposit Central), Softball
WCDO Sports Director Nate Lull is based in Sidney, NY and reports on high school sports in the counties that surround SUNY Delhi. Many of the athletes Nate covers continue their sports careers by joining the Bronco family. During this special winter edition, Nate is highlighting a local player he covered in high school who is now in college at Delhi.
This week Nate has selected Danielle Seymour from Softball. Danielle is a native of Deposit, NY.
Nate says: "Danielle is a great addition to the SUNY Delhi Softball family. She comes from an extremely successful program at Deposit Central School where they won two state championships during her playing career. Her team also captured the Section IV Class-C title during the COVID-shortened 2021 season. Danielle can do it all from pitching to playing the infield to laying down the perfect bunt. I believe she will be an immediate contributor for the Broncos and I can't wait for the spring season to see her play."
