Angelica Lazo (Elmont, NY / Sewanhaka) made the most of a four-game week, posting a team high in scoring the first two to get the Broncos started at SUNY Oswego Tuesday, which included a game-high 16 points, then scoring 14 on Marywood at home Thursday. SUNY Delhi then traveled to the Alfred Classic weekend series, where Lazo delivered 12 points with a pair of 3-pointers against Alfred State Saturday, then nine points versus Alfred University Sunday.
Tucker Garrett (Holland Patent, NY / Holland Patent) raced to two seventh-place finishes at Saturday's Herkimer Invitational. The Holland Patent native played to his neighborhood crowd with a 2:40.26 time in the 200-yard freestyle, then a 27.36 mark in the 50-yard freestyle. He swam the butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay as the team posted a 2:10.74 time.
