Spring 2021 SUNY Delhi Athletics Home Spectator Policy

Following guidelines established by New York State, the State University of New York (SUNY), local Delaware County Department of Health, the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and institutional policies, SUNY Delhi will permit limited spectators at off-campus home athletic events this spring. On-campus athletic events will continue to be closed to visitors.

They SUNY Delhi campus is currently closed to visitors and there will be no visiting spectators allowed on campus. On-campus athletics events include: men's lacrosse, women's volleyball, men's and women's track & field, and tennis.

For the sports of women's softball and golf, which are contested at sites determined to be off campus, following guidance from the State of New York, two spectators per player up to a maximum of 200 spectators for outdoor events will be allowed. We ask the visiting institutions to please inform their Coaches and players in advance.

Any updates to this policy will be communicated to upcoming scheduled visiting opponents in advance and will be posted on the SUNY Delhi Athletics website.

Please note: for visiting teams, food deliveries are also not allowed on campus at this time.

The health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and the Delhi campus community remains the highest priority and in an effort to limit campus density, visitors from off-campus continue to be prohibited at SUNY Delhi.

SUNY institutions seeking to resume intercollegiate athletics will determine its own spectator allowance policies in line with New York State's Higher Education Athletics Guidance (PDF).

Due to restrictions of spectators at events, SUNY Delhi athletics is planning on livestreaming all home athletics events. Links to the video streams and live game statistics can be found on the SUNY Delhi athletics website www.delhibroncos.com and navigating to the team's schedule page.

SUNY Delhi Athletics will continue to follow NCAA and New York State guidance, and updates will be made in accordance with any changes made by each organization.

SUNY Delhi facilities and buildings continue to be open only for official college business and will remain closed to the general public.

To all of our fans, families and friends we thank you in advance for your understanding of the current situation. Let's all do our part to keep our student-athletes safe. "Go Broncos!"
