WOODLEY EDUOARD '14 - LACROSSE

Woodley Edouard '14 was a defenseman on what many believe to be the two biggest seasons in Broncos Lacrosse history in 2013 and 2014, serving as a team captain for the latter. Delhi won back-to-back Mountain Valley Conference championships, and in 2014 made it to the NJCAA Region 3 Championship game and subsequently the program's first and only NJCAA National Tournament entry. Woodley was named to the 2014 NJCAA Region 3 All-Tournament Team, being part of a defense that ranked in the top ten nationally with a 9.72 goals allowed average. The Broncos won a combined 25 games during that two-year stretch. He moved on to play at NCAA Division II Shorter College, helping the defense rank atop the nation with 190 caused turnovers in 2016. Originally from Elmont, NY, Woodley is a coach and program director for Bronx Lacrosse, a full-day, year-round academic & sports-based youth development program for underserved students in the South Bronx.

Cross Country and Track and Field standout Jocintha Gordon-Reece became SUNY Delhi's first individual female National Champion in any sport in 1995 when she earned All Conference, All Region III honors and NJCAA Division III First Team All- American honors in Cross Country. She was the Mountain Valley Conference Cross Country Champion and earned All Region III honors and Second Team All-American honors in 1994. In indoor track, she broke SUNY Delhi records at 500 meters and 1,000 meters. She competed at the Indoor National Championship in Carbondale, IL in March 1996 in the 600 meters and 1,000 meter events. Her success at Delhi earned Gordon-Reece a scholarship to St. John's University where she competed in the Big East Championships and the prestigious Penn Relays. Gordon-Reece garnered St. John's all-time record in the 4 x 800 meter relay in 1997.

JONATHAN ANNAN '12 - BASKETBALL

Jonathan Annan, otherwise known as "J.O.", has serviced SUNY Delhi indelibly for the past decade. He arrived in 2010 as an EOP student and a student-athlete on the men's basketball program, ushering in one of the greatest two-year runs in the program's history. The team charted a combined 60-11 record, winning back-to-back NJCAA Region 3 championships and a return to the NJCAA National Tournament. Jonathan was named the 2012 Region 3 Tournament MVP and First Team All-Region, guiding the Broncos to their highest national finish in third place. He finished his Delhi career with 693 points and 292 assists. Jonathan received a scholarship to play at NCAA Division II Post University, then transferred to Farmingdale State for his senior year. Jonathan and the Rams finished with an 18-9 record and reached the Skyline Conference Semifinals; he ranked third on the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game, while tallying five 20-point games. After graduation Jonathan returned to SUNY Delhi where he is an EOP counselor, reuniting him with the many faces who encouraged him as they continue their mission in providing for college students to overcome financial or academic hardship.

JOHNNY BAEZ '05 - CROSS COUNTRY, TRACK & FIELD

Johnny Baez was a five-time NJCAA All-American and multiple national champion between cross country and track & field. Johnny became SUNY Delhi's first indoor track & field national champion, winning the 1,000 meters at the 2005 NJCAA Championships in a field that covered all divisions. That spring, he took gold in the 800 and 1500 meters, as well as First Team All-American in the 4x800, to help Delhi win the 2005 NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship. Then the following fall, Johnny won the individual national title at the 2005 NJCAA Cross Country Championships to lead the Broncos to another team championship. He is still in the Delhi record books as part of the fastest indoor distance medley relay team in history (10:18.11). Johnny received an athletic scholarship to the University of South Carolina. He secured a firm spot as the Gamecocks' middle-distance specialist, qualifying in the outdoor 800 meters at the 2006 NCAA Division I East Regional his first season. At the 2007 SEC indoor championships, Johnny helped the Gamecocks score with a fifth-place finish in the distance medley relay, and was a finalist for the 800 meters. In the Gamecocks record books, Johnny still holds the seventh fastest time in the indoor mile (4:14.22), ninth in the outdoor 800 meters (1:50.03), tenth in the indoor 800 meters (1:51.56), and a member of the sixth fastest indoor distance medley relay team (10:02.98). DAMION GAYNOR '05 - SOCCER

Damion Gaynor answered the call immediately for SUNY Delhi men's soccer when the midfielder arrived for the 2003 season. Damion earned NJCAA Second Team All-Region 3 honors that year, netting 12 goals as the Broncos won 13 games, the Mountain Valley Conference title, and a first-round win in the regional tournament: a scoreless draw that came down to a 3-0 penalty-kick decision over Morrisville State. With a mighty arsenal of scoring threats entering 2004, Damion gracefully moved from a scoring leader to a scoring contributor, tallying four of the team's 27 goals in an eight-win season that also saw them come out victorious in their first-round regional matchup, a 1-0 ledger to top SUNY Broome. Damion earned NJCAA Second Team All-American for his play. He continued his playing career at NCAA Division I St. Peter's College in Jersey City, N.J. In 2005, he ranked third on the team as a junior with 14 points on five goals and four assists. The following year in 2006, Damion earned All-MAAC First Team honors after helping the Peacocks reach the MAAC Championship match.

BRITTANY TOLIVER '18 - BASKETBALL

Brittany Toliver was the first four year student-athlete for SUNY Delhi women's basketball, joining the program for its final two seasons at the NJCAA level from 2013-15 and ushering in Delhi's four-year era from 2015-17. A Recreation & Sports Management major, she stayed on as a student assistant for the 2017-18 season before completing her degree. Among all of SUNY Delhi's four-year student-athletes, Brittany's 578 career points and 131 career assists stand third all-time. Brittany and her team embraced the challenge of molding their identity as a four-year team. After a seven-win season in 2015-16, the Broncos nearly doubled that total to 13 wins in 2016-17, then 17 wins in 2017-18, the highest for the program since 2011-12, as the Broncos advanced to the conference championship. Outside of basketball, Brittany was an active student in the athletics department, working games and in the fitness center. She was also an active member of "Kids' Night Out," a yearly youth function put on by the Recreation & Sports Management department.

Aquawasi St. Hillaire's two-year career with SUNY Delhi men's basketball marked incredible milestones for he and the program. Also known as "Q", the 6'6" forward played under future Hall of Fame coach Mike Spisto as a freshman in 2000-01, returning the Broncos to the NJCAA National Tournament with a record 32 wins and a NJCAA Region 3 title. As a sophomore the following year under new coach Anthony Evans, Q and the Broncos continued to flourish with their second straight regional title and another 32 wins, while receiving a number-one ranking. His sophomore effort garnered him NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention and a National All-Tournament choice. Aquawasi continued on to UAlbany as one of the program's first big recruits after transitioning to NCAA Division I. In 2003-04, he was named the Great Danes' MVP as a junior, leading the team in rebounding with 6.8 boards per game and fourth with 9.8 points per game. His 14 rebounds versus Colgate on December 2, 2003 still stands as second most in school history.
