The SUNY Delhi Cross Country Teams traveled to Western New England University for a large cross country invitational and their last meet before the championship season begins.

The men's team, led by sophomore Kobie Lane who is fresh of being named the USCAA National Runner of the Week, won the team title for their third victory of the year.  Lane ran the 8,000 meter course in 25:51.6 to place second overall in the field of 193 runners.  The team placed three other men in the top 10 finishers with senior John Hillenbrand (4th), freshman Jon Messler (6th) and sophomore Andrew Davis (8th).  Freshman Connor Oakman rounded out the teams scoring with a 14th place finish.  The men dominated the team race scoring an impressive 34 points to easily outrun the runner-up University of New England who had 115 points.

The women were led again by sophomore Isamarie Ramos who ran the 5,000 meter course in 21:29.3 seconds to place 48th in the field of 242 runners.  The other scoring runners for the broncos were junior Kelsey Esselman (99th), sophomore Elise McIntyre (109th), freshman Ashley Magnifico (129th) and sophomore Rainey Cerqua (145th).  The women placed 15th as a team in the field of 22 complete teams.

The teams will travel to Canton in two weeks for the final race before the national championships.
